Derek Carr returns to his very own Trident Recordings with “Crossroads/ Shining Through” EP

Derek Carr returns to his very own imprint Trident Recordings with two stunning house-orientated techno cuts.

Renowned for his intricate combinations of soul, melody and electronic dancefloor grooves, Derek Carr has been producing and releasing his Detroit-tinged electronic soundtracks for almost two decades. Having recently catalogued music on labels such as For Those That Knoe, Revoke and Firescope, it was in 2001 that Derek decided to launch his own label Trident Recordings, subsequently dropping his debut “Copper Beach” EP.

Following his recent “The Colour of Acid” EP, Derek invites us on a deeply Detroit-influenced house journey for “Crossroads/ Shining Through”. Vinyl release is on the 24th May, with the first 200 copies coming in red and black marbled vinyl, make sure to pre-order on Cold Cuts or Boomkat.
