Italian DJ and producer Adiel surfaces with lead single “Time Is Out” taken from her highly anticipated debut “Method” EP forthcoming on Len Faki’s esteemed Figure imprint, out May 10th.
Emerging from the Rome underground to the international stage, Adiel has slowly but surely made a name for herself within the electronic music scene and has become widely recognised for her hypnotic and enchanting sets. Following a slew of steady releases on her very own Danza Tribale label over the past few years, the youngstar continues to impress, delivering an intricately interwoven four-track record for Figure.
Namesake song “Method” showcases an intricate, moody stepper reminiscent of early Burial with its grimy atmosphere and skeletal breakbeats, tied together by eerie vocals and cascading synth line. Following up is “Mad”, a soundtrack that builds on a dry but lively pattern whilst fully immersed in acid arps and a sea of squelches for a high-quality drive. On the flip is a deep-panning percussive delight, setting the bleak scene for a vividly arp-driven ride beneath a starry sky until the record is concluded with a flurry of raw drums, bubbling acid and trippy vocals for “In Your Power”.
