DJ Bone, Terrence Parker, and Scan 7 remix Disruptive Pattern Material on the ‘Necessary EP’, landing this May on Rekids.
Coming as his debut release on one of electronic music’s finest imprints, Michigan’s very own Disruptive Pattern Material emerges with a Detroit indebted jam back with remixes from some of the Motor City’s most influential names.
Speaking on the record, DPM said: “My first record on Rekids has a lot of firsts. The first “real” club I ever went inside was Detroit’s famed Motor Lounge, where DJ Bone was a resident, years later as a club promoter in Brooklyn I brought Terrence Parker out for his first gig in NYC, and Scan 7’s “Black Moon Rising” was the first Underground Resistance record in my collection … it felt only right to have the people that put me down this path be involved for this project.“
“Necessary” EP is out today 7th May and is available to listen and buy on Bandcamp.
