Manchester’s very own Means&3rd kicks off his brand new label Unveiled Nuance with an immaculate three-track EP.
Highly regarded Manchester-based DJ and producer Means&3rd introduces his brand new imprint with an EP packed full of high-quality techno cuts.
The new label was born out of a desire to give his own productions a platform as well as providing a central point for all connected creative practices. As an artist, Means&3rd has spent numerous years promoting events and making a name for himself in one of the UK’s finest record stores in Eastern Bloc Records. Recently he has zeroed in on his production skills after meticulously analysing his craft and has truly begun to sculpt his own identity with a sharp attentiveness to detail.
Containing three tracks of driving and hypnotic techno, “Thought Contortion” opens the EP with a thunderous low end, propulsive rhythms and immersive sweeps of sound design, teamed with modulated synth patterns that assist the unfolding of its persistent structure. “Fragility of perception” follows with its elastic 3 step synth groove and reverb rich textures which provide the bed while the percussion provides an airy dynamic, until “Aural Dissociative” closes the EP with an all together headier affair.
