London club E1 hosts the first RE-TEXTURED since 2019 delivering a slew of formidable techno producers. RE-TEXTURED is brought to you by London promoters Krankbrother.
On the line-up is resident of Berlin’s queer party Herrensauna, SPFDJ, renowned for blending techno, acid, EBM and hardcore throughout sets. JASSS’ sets are no less ambitious, incorporating elements of free jazz, African rhythm, ambient pop and industrial bursts, a care free spirit which made her debut album Weightless, released on Swedish label Ideal Recordings.
Also on the list is B.Traits’ alias Baby T, described as playing “hardcore, drum & bass and jungle—and that’s where I’m going back to with Baby T, but this time I’m not 18, and I have zero fucks to give.”
Flying the flag for the UK, one of the preeminent voices in UK electronic music – Actress. Since 2012 he has run his label in conjunction with Ninja Tune, releasing ‘Ghettoville’ in 2014, a record described as “inscrutable, unsettling and utterly unique” (Uncut.). London-based favourite Daniel Avery also features – a global superstar thanks to his two exquisite records Drone Logic and Song For Alpha.
