Nigerian-born, UK-based artist Shaé Universe delivers her first record of the year entitled “Pushin”.
The talented musician fuses her R&B roots with the harder sounds of drill for a tasteful release produced by XVR BLCK. It is Shaé Universe’s first release of 2022 and features soulful vocals and layered harmonies throughout.
Speaking on the track, Shaé shares: “‘Pushin” was written with ease, it flowed so naturally because it was a subconscious premonition of certain relationships that would come to an end in my life. I didn’t know it at the time I wrote the song but soon enough I saw the coherence manifest in my life. Cheers to honouring your boundaries and dropping dead weight!”
