“Back2Roadz” showcases the London rapper delivering raw, anecdotal tales that immediately define his talent – his low tone and seemingly ambivalent cadence luring the listener in only to stun with sharp ad libs and wordplay. The new single comes as the first teaser from his highly anticipated EP coming this October.
An elusive presence on the scene with just three official releases in the past two years following his debut project Eighteen, Moko’s tracks have nevertheless attained significant numbers: 2.2M for “1 Time” and 1.9M on title track “Eighteen” — as his distinctive style adds to the sense of a thrilling new artist with an ear for hits.
