Last weekend, the UK’s most beloved DY party collective, The Cause, returned to London for their brand new three month party series called ‘Possibly Maybe’. Since closing its doors earlier this year in January, the team behind The Cause have run several ‘off-radar’ parties in unused spaces across the capital — this time deciding to settle down and test a brand new industrial site hidden away somewhere in east London.
The Cause kicked off the series with their hotly-anticipated 4th birthday celebrations, led by an unannounced line-up and secret address — only revealed via private email just before the part was set to start. Described as a brutalist concrete styled building, boasting two indoor spaces plus a large open-air space with shipping containers, the new venue hopes to remain as a clubbing space for years to come as it will no doubt garner a huge amount of attention from tastemakers and dancers across the UK. Following the birthday celebrations, The Cause have invited a slew of individual event platforms to curate their own line-ups over the next few months including a three-date run from Adonis, Riposte, Warm Up, Keep Hush PIV and Alien Communications.
