London’s prodigy Moko returns with stunning two-track release ahead of his hotly-anticipated project

London’s very own Moko continues his good form, releasing a two-track teaser “Shameless” / “Dancing With The Devil” alongside two captivating visualisers.

Moko has been building momentum as one of the most intriguing and naturally talented young artists in the scene right now, penning tracks that have raced to over 6M streams on Spotify. Since unleashing “Back2Roadz” last month, the single has already racked up over 2M streams.

“Shameless” now emerges as a laid-back groove with the Londoner underlining a nuanced maturity and flow layered upon an elegant instrumental with minimal bass but plenty of ethereal synth samples. It’s “Dance With The Devil” that really sets the tone for the levels he’s capable of – polished, slick R&B tones and flashes of trumpet lay a sophisticated bed for a disarming, intelligent self-examination to dance across.

An elusive presence on the scene with just three official releases in the past two years following his debut project Eighteen, Moko’s drops nevertheless attained significant numbers: 2.2M for “1 Time” and 2M on title track “Eighteen” — as his distinctive style adds to the sense of a thrilling new artist with a natural ear for melodic hits.

Keep an eye out for his forthcoming project 48 Part 1, out this September.
