Skin On Skin’s innovative heater “Burn Dem Bridges” gets remix work from recent Brit Awards nominee and MOBOs 2023 winner Nia Archives.
The “Burn Dem Bridges” culture clash record was a stand-out moment from SOS’s AVA Boiler Room set, with multiple rips of the track occurring across Soundcloud, before racing to millions of streams and counting. A potentially defining moment in Dance culture, fusing the growing global relevance of Drill into the Dance world, distilling its raw energy and sound into a completely new format.
Remix duty now comes from one of the hottest electronic artists right now in Nia Archives, working her magic with a rapid-fire jungle rendition that’s already lighting up dancefloors – as seen in her recent Boiler Room set.
Speaking on the edit, Nia Archives states: “This was so fun to make an edit of one of ma favorite underground tracks of tha year, it was a boiler room highlight for me and has been going off in ma sets the past couple of months”.
Leeds-born, Manchester-raised DJ, producer, vocalist and label head Nia Archives is widely recognised as one of the most exciting artists in UK music right now, underlined by her recent nomination for the 2023 BRIT Awards Best Rising Star and MOBO Awards victory for ‘Best Electronic/ Dance Act’.
