UK cult figure, rapper and artist Lancey Foux surprises fans in East London, giving away brand new pairs of ACW x Converse Geo Formula that were officially released on Tuesday.
The surprise came when Lancey posted on his Instagram hours before the in-person meet took place. Asking fans to RSVP via a link on his stories, the address was shared moments before the event over at Pudding Mill Lane station, East London.
With over a hundred dedicated fans gathering at the station in the cold December weather, Lancey arrived in style, spending over an hour interacting with his fans from his car, in the process giving away a number of new shoes and some personal merchandise as a small thank you for all the support he has received over the last 12 months.
This was Lancey’s first in-person moment with his fans since dropping his acclaimed LIFE IN HELL album earlier this year and subsequently selling out two tours in the US (the only UK artist to do so in 2022), as well as two London shows at the brand new venue, HERE.
Continuing to make serious waves in both the music and fashion worlds, Lancey recently teamed up with A-COLD-WALL and Converse for their sleek new shoe. Paying homage to the infamous Chuck Taylor All-Star through an avant-garde lens, the Geo Forma was showcased via an all-new video campaign fronted by Lancey. Arriving in “Volt/Black Beauty” and “Lily White/Poppy Seed”, the visuals place the artist in an another universe, dressed in ACW* gear and the chunky shoe on-foot.
