Following 2020’s Authentic collab between Yasuko Furuta’s TOGA and Vans, the two brands now circle back for a brand new collaboration.
The two resist Vans’ timeless Authentic to give it a lick of Western life – a style TOGA often tiptoes in but with a Japanese twist — bedazzled with embellishments much like the Japanese brand’s beloved footwear and Porter Bags.
The Tokyo-based brand offer a black western bird concept stitched into its white canvas joined by other sewing work in the form of zig-zags. The rubber soles and tongue get blacked out, with simple branding on the insole.
The bird logo also finds its place on. the TOGA x Vans sweatshirt and socks, offered in white and black.
The shoe launches on 1st September at TOGA, Vans and Beams.
