A Kind Of Guise launch their second AW23 drop entitled ‘Huldufólk’ — a collection of carefully curated pieces that continue their commitment to quality craftsmanship and extraordinary materials.
The Pino Shirt is a central piece, resembling a mix of creative techniques — combining pressed dried flower shapes, outlined sketches, and carefully stitched embroidery with thick wool threads, which creates an alluring textured aesthetic. More texture is brought in by the Gusto Shirt and Kura Cardigan in lupine stripe, featuring an extraordinary mix of cool-hued bouclé yarns.
For cooler seasons, the Valur Wool Vest in boiled grey wool offers versatile layering options, accompanied by the Jorvi Jacket and Sjomenn hat, also in boiled wool, providing inherent durability, from temperature-regulating to water-proof benefits.
Knitwear takes form in the Karli Knit Sweater, offered in flora & fauna and fire & ice colorways. Crafted from Italian merino wool, the speckled colour palettes abstractly capture the essence of Iceland’s landscapes. The Lundur Knit Vests add depth with their curly blend of soft virgin wool and alpaca, perfect for layering during transitional periods.
Outerwear selections include the Kilijan Quilted Jacket, with recycled fiber padding and contrasting binding for a defined touch. The Floki Fleece Jackets provide a similar binding detail for a defined finish, while being crafted from cozy Steiff® teddy bear fur. For colder climes, the Katla Coat takes the spotlight, a double-breasted winter coat available in a checked virgin wool or navy premium blend of virgin wool and cashmere.
Rounding off the drop through headwear accessories including the Dalvik Beanie, a knitted addition made from Italian 100% fine merino wool yarn.
