Overmono return with scintillating new cut “Blow Out”

Electronic duo Overmono crash back into the soundsphere with pulsating new offering “Blow Out” via XL Recordings.

“Blow Out” is an out-there celebration of the bass having premiered during Overmono’s debut set at Coachella and has since grown into a monumental moment in their live show which they have taken to numerous festivals across including Primavera Sound, Fuji Rock, All Together Now, Down The Rabbit Hole, a headline slot at South-London’s GALA and most recently, to Lost Village. “Blow Out” is rich in bass-heavy textures, and the infectious vocal hook makes it perfect for the autumn and winter raving to come.

Speaking on the single, Overmono says: “Blow Out was the first thing we made after finishing the album. After that process of being quite methodical, we had an urge to write something that was really out and out lairy and wanted the bass to sound like it was playing out of a blown-out speaker. The track was finished the day before our show at Coachella and we thought there was probably no better place to test it out. It’s become one of our favourite parts of the live show since and we’ll never forget playing it to a packed-out home crowd at GALA just after the album had been released.”
