Rapid-rising singer-rapper Rio Rains drops off his highly-anticipated EP cobwebs in my room, produced by Dom Valentino and Kurisu.
Following a slew of successful releases including “favourite girl”, “nirvana”, “dancing in the dark” and Finn Foxell assisted “sunshine”, Rio Rainz delivers his full six-track project including new singles “the kid” and “brand new whip”, touching on inner city life and his struggles with darker times.
The project was most created in Rio’s bedroom — spanning a range of genres including D&B, Rap, Jersey Drill and piano ballads it lays the perfect foundation for Rio’s immaculate lyricism to glide over. cobwebs in my room flips between his extroverted and introverted self over six eclectic songs, which perfectly reflect the place Rio is in currently.
To celebrate the project, in the coming week Rio will also be announcing his debut headline show in London.
