Vivienne Westwood remain committed to carrying the late designers legacy, releasing their latest offering for Spring/Summer 2024 that dives into Shakespearean England.
The new collection offers a contemporary vision of past-informed styles, shot and filmed in one of Vivienne Westwood’s favourite places, the Globe Theatre. Denim sets and cotton suiting are tossed in floral fabrications and enhanced by sharp design details. Highlights include Westwood’s signature corset style, appearing in polka dot dresses, art-inspired tops, a multicoloured knit top and traditional VW corsets.
Elsewhere, elevated looks take via wrap overcoats, striped blazers, cropped jackets, striped button-down shirts, printed shorts, skirts and more. Regardless of the garment style, the whole collection comes to life through a blend of eye-catching prints, textures and designs.
The collection turns out to be a playful ‘play’ on nuanced classics and staple Westwood silhouettes with folkloric flare throughout.
