West London’s P-rallel unleashes debut mixtape ‘Movement’

West London producer and DJ, P-rallel, drops off his debut mixtape Movement.

Exploring the diverse soundscapes of UK dance culture, Movement consists of ten immaculately produced tracks, including one of P-rallel’s most popular tracks “It’s a London Thing”, which has already amassed over 500K global streams and 3M views across TikTok. The tape enlists a range of top-tier artists and close friends including the likes of KAM-BU and BXKS on “Evening Time”, a DETO BLACK assist on “Go”, as well as Dom Valentino and dexter in the newsagent who both appear on final track “Treat Me Right”.

Speaking on “It’s a London Thing”, P-rallel states: “I was heavily exposed to Scott Garcia’s original that dropped 26 years ago from my dad playing it when I was a kid and then hearing it, then playing it myself later when I got into spinning Garage. I felt like it was time to bring it back with a 2023 spin, it’s been smashing festivals all summer! I’m announcing my first full length project ‘Movement’ with this, all of the tunes I’ve released so this year are on it, it’s a reflection of what I’ve been doing in the club & at festivals these last couple of years since the pandemic”.
