Six years on from parting ways with Céline, revered British designer Phoebe Philo has returned to the aether with the first collection of her own namesake label ‘Phoebe Philo’ — proving to be one of the most anticipated drops in the fashion world to date. First confirmed in 2021, the debut collection features over 100 styles, available to buy in the UK, US and Europe, with the first drop releasing yesterday.
The collection, or ‘edit’ as it’s dubbed in the press release, is described as part of a ‘season-less, continuous body of work’, of which drops like these will appear regularly. Highlights include leather outerwear, oversized suiting, delicate silk draping and satisfyingly chunky knitwear. The accessories, namely high collar heels, cavernous suede holdalls and seventies sunnies, are particularly special.
