London-based alternative rap trio Frozemode solidify their standing with brand new debut mixtape ‘Demode’.
Hot on the heels of continuous widespread acclaim across radio and key tastemakers, Frozemode, made up of I.V. Gatlin, Lisong, and Cho-Hollo, continue their good form with a brand new mixtape comprising of seven scintillating tracks. Tracing Frozemode’s journey from obscurity to becoming one of the industry’s most promising acts, the new tape stands as a resounding testament to their rapid ascent, offering a striking array of songs that exemplify their distinctive fusion of alternative, punk, hip-hop and high-energy rap music.
Standout track, “RUFF,” is a guitar-infused hip-hop anthem that serves as a poignant tribute to the late DMX. This emotionally charged and hard-hitting composition underscores Frozemode’s unwavering dedication to creating music with profound meaning. Whilst other tracks such as “Silverstone,” add another dimension to the project — both “RUFF” and “Silverstone” bring their sonic synergy into the physical realm, landing with visualisers to follow the release of the mixtape.
The group are currently in the middle of a impressive run of live dates, having just played at London’s KOKO and Manchester’s O2 Ritz, Frozemode will hit Birmingham on November 17th before returning to London’s The Lower Third alongside Dumb Buoys Fishing Club on 22nd November.
