Egyptian-Australian DJ and producer, moktar, has released new single “HARAKA “حركة”’”.
Continuing to blend club and techno with Arabic instrumentation, moktar has released another stellar hybrid release with “HARAKA “حركة”’”, reimagining Egyptian singer and actor Saad El Soghayar’s wedding staple ‘Hatgawez’ via a thrilling 160bpm banger.
Speaking on the new release, moktar states: “My latest single ‘Haraka’ features the notorious singer Egyptian Saad Soghayar. The topline is taken from one of the biggest tracks, ‘Hatgawez’, which is well known in the Middle Eastern world for being one of the most played tracks at any wedding since the 2000’s. Combining my love for Jungle and Arabic music to bring you all my own taste with high energy and celebration to the dancefloor”.
