With a rapidly growing fanbase, personality in abundance and skills to match, 2025 is set to be another milestone year for the acclaimed talent.
Hot on the heels of her album tour, we caught up with Anna to chat about her recent activities and get a fit check around what she was wearing…
Hey Anna, how was 2024 for you?
2024 was so solid! The album focus really kept my foot on the gas and it felt like big challenges coming in every month. When I feel like I’m being pushed and challenged, I’m happy!
What are you looking to achieve in 2025?
This is a great question! I’m in the process of thinking about this, but I think I’m looking to push my radio show on Apple Music further and dial in some really interesting and elevated club singles.
You’ve been busy touring across multiple countries recently including America and the UK. How did it all go?
Getting the chance to play in London was so sick. I want to make sure I get back there at least 2 times in 2025 and keep building on it. The audience really understands my sound there—I’ve been pushing UK sounds internationally for 15 years! So it’s cool to reflect the inspirations back in my own way. USA club shows around the album have been so good too. I can’t believe the response to the new songs. It makes my heart burst. Chicago at Smart bar was a huge highlight. What a legendary space to enter.
You also made your Boiler Room debut in Sydney. Tell us more about the set and what you wanted to showcase?
Boiler Room was all raw rave energy! Playing b2b with Nina Las Vegas meant I got to lean into some of my original world club influences even more. We had baile funk, world club, huge bangers, garage, house techno and everything in between in the set it was the best.
In terms of fashion, what brands are you rocking at the moment?
It’s summer in Australia and winter in the northern hemi and I pop between them but some items have been up front in both places!! Those Ganni pieces I got in CPH have been great and my vintage moto boots are a staple for me right now, I buy heaps second hand of depop these days. I might try to go all second hand in 2025. It’s honestly my favourite way to shop! I find it’s such a fun way to experiment with looks without spending a fortune and I love how no one knows where the pieces came from. They feel more timeless. Besides that I shop basics at reformation and ssense (only on sale time because I’m not making money like that!)
Can you tell us some of your favourite pieces in your wardrobe currently?
Moto Depop boots, my Depop mini skirts (I sold all my pre-pandemic minis in 2021—big mistake), baby doll tanks, Jangly silver belts over everything (fun to dance in) Layering the same items hot to cold. Having well fitting second hand leather minis and pants in a variety of colours and a Tommy HIlfiger red NYC bomber I was gifted.
Fit Check
“This is a piece about resilient dressing and mixing pieces—going for 2 weeks with carry on during EU winter is not easy! But it’s the only way to roll when you move as fast as I did! Function over form is the vibe. layering is also the vibe. Here’s how I did it. It’s all about sticking to a colour combo and having all pieces point in the same direction. If it doesn’t fit the scheme, it goes.”
“Also always make sure you under pack in case you pick things up on the way —which I did! Even though I only packed carry-on, there were still a bunch of things I never even wore! 4 t shirts/singlets, 5 undies, 5 socks and then 2 long sleeve layering pieces, an everything hoodie and a jacket. Sneakers and boots. Jeans, Stockings and soft pants for the planeand—that’s literally it!”

“I went by the Ganni showroom in Copenhagen and they gifted me this jacket and sneakers—I actually had to throw away my old sneakers (which were ready to go) so I could fit these in the bag! A risky move but it paid off. This is the Ganni shoes and jacket with the ONE HOODIE I took (I know, wow) from Butter, Acne vintage blue jeans off Depop.”

“This is a show night, Ganni jacket with Butter hoodie and vintage skirt off Depop, stockings and boots.”

“Pre-album launch in LA—Miaou 2 piece top and Mschf skirt from China Town Country Club in Sydney—definitely one of our best stores.”

“I lived in this Tommy Hilfiger Jacket, it was perfect for all day and all night use!”

“Ganni also gifted me this blue top which was perfect for layering and was perfect for wearing to my NYC gig. Easy to sweat in, wash, layer, and day to night. The perfect piece for touring.”
