Salehe Bembury’s Made in UK New Balance collaboration has just dropped.
Salehe Bembury draws inspiration from the iconic Joshua trees of the Southwestern deserts for his latest collaboration with New Balance on the MADE in UK 1500. Renowned for its refined approach to late ’80s running design, the 1500 model takes on a fresh, travel-inspired twist under Bembury’s vision.
The designer’s “GROWTH BE THE TREE” take on the MADE in UK 1500 features premium pig suede overlays, mesh underlays, and reflective details at the toebox. The sneaker also includes a woven label with Salehe Bembury and New Balance branding on the tongue, while the ENCAP midsole cushioning combines lightweight foam with a durable polyurethane rim. Additional details include a co-branded sockliner insert and an embroidered drop shadow, completing the design with a unique and thoughtful touch.
