Willy Chavarria’s latest collection is a focused line-up of graphic-driven pieces that honour New York’s influence on the brand.
The new range features a bold graphic design with the brand’s rose silhouette logo in Old English typeface, paired with “New York” at the bottom. The emblem draws inspiration from his February Paris debut, where a similar black and red collection was released. This time round, Chavarria has opted for a “Navy” and off-white “Tofu” colour scheme, reminiscent of the classic Yankees palette. The collection also boasts a hoodie, two t-shirts, and two embroidered snap-back caps.
Heralded as CFDA’s American Menswear Designer of the Year in 2024, the Mexican-American designer blends vintage athletic and worker uniforms with ecclesiastical influences in his work. Chavarria, renowned for collaborations with the likes of adidas, Kendrick Lamar, and Human Rights Watch, has started the year with more graphic-driven collections than ever before.
The “New York Collection” is available to purchase via the brand’s official online store.
