KEEN Taps Pilgrim Surf + Supply For Limited Edition Jasper Zionic

Global shoemaker KEEN has tapped Brooklyn-based Pilgrim Surf + Supply for new limited edition Jasper Zionic.

The new limited edition collection, which also includes an all-gender pair of Yogeez clog, serves as a natural extension of Pilgrim’s roots in surfing and music. The new iteration colour combination in the Pilgrim x Jasper Zionic represents copper wiring used for transmitting sound—before and after being exposed to water and oxidised. It’s also a nod to the Statue of Liberty, which can be seen from the end of Pilgrim’s street.

Speaking on the collaboration, Pilgrim Surf + Supply’s founder Chris Gentile stated: “Sound and ocean waves both carry energy from one spot to another as do our feet. The Jasper Zionic and Yogeez styles in this collaboration are a visual representation of this idea of energy and movement, celebrating our love of music and the ocean.”

The Jasper Zionic, one of KEEN’s most popular models, features a high-traction rubber outsole with an aggressive studded lug pattern, ensuring better ground contact and smooth heel-to-toe movement. Also crafted from soft, ethically sourced suede leather, with detailed stitching that highlights premium craftsmanship, the footwear boasts a contoured shape and tongue-to-toe lacing, ensuring a comfortable, athletic fit for enhanced performance. The outsole also includes a heel crash pad that wraps around the heel to absorb impact.

Adding to its eco-friendly features, the shoes are equipped with KEEN’s Eco Anti-Odor technology, which uses natural probiotics to fight foot odour without relying on harmful chemicals, and are crafted from suede leather sourced from tanneries that are certified by the Leather Working Group for their environmental and social practices.

The limited-edition Jasper Zionic is available to purchase now via KEEN and Pilgrim Surf + Supply webstores.
