Acne Studios has announced the return of its collaboration with the beloved Moomin characters, unveiling a second capsule collection for Fall/Winter 2025.
The 16-piece line blends the Swedish label’s minimalist aesthetic with the whimsical world of Tove Jansson’s iconic creations. Rooted in a shared Scandinavian heritage, the collection spans jersey, denim, knitwear, and accessories, all featuring colourful prints and character patches of Little My, Snorkmaiden, Stinky, and the Hattifatteners. Designed with a youthful, unisex appeal, the pieces come in bright hues like acid yellow and soft pink, adding a playful twist to Acne Studios staples.
Standout items include the brand’s signature 1981 jeans, striped shirts, and lace-up sneakers with detachable Moomin metal patches. The Acne Face logo appears throughout as subtle detailing, while charms and keyrings round out the accessories offering.
Building on their initial collaboration in 2024, Acne Studios continues to pay tribute to Jansson’s imaginative universe—one that has long championed values of tolerance, individuality, and kindness. The capsule reimagines these timeless messages through a lens of contemporary fashion and Scandinavian design.
The new collection will be available online at acnestudios.com from 28th May and in Acne Studios worldwide from 30th May.
