What’s On: Tomas Gittins Debut Solo Show Powered By Salamon Sportstyle

Emerging Brazilian-English artist Tomas Gittins will unveil his first solo show, “Pursuit of Joy”, at London’s Toxic Arts Gallery on 6th June, 2025.

The Brazilian-English painter, known for his bold style and emotional candor, brings over ten new works that explore joy as a daily act rather than a final destination. Fusing street art, pop culture and raw expression, Gittins’ distinct visual language—marked by thick outlines and vibrant palettes—challenges traditional ideas of what contemporary art should look like and where it should be seen. His work reflects a broader cultural movement that rejects elitist art spaces in favour of community-driven, accessible platforms.

The exhibition is supported by Salomon Sportstyle, with exclusive merchandise and a one-off giveaway available to attendees. This includes custom Salomon XT-6’s, which will be raffled on the night to commemorate Tomas’ partnership with the brand, and limited edition t-shirt printing featuring Tomas’ work. A run club event tied to the show will also be announced via social media.
