Bad Bunny has launched a new collaboration with adidas Originals to mark the start of his first-ever concert residency in his home country.
The “Gazelle City Series” pays tribute to three culturally significant locations in Puerto Rico and debuted Thursday as the artist kicked off his 30-show run at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum. The limited-edition collection features three versions of the Gazelle Indoor silhouette, each named after a different region: El Yunque, Santurce and Cabo Rojo. The designs incorporate distinct colour schemes reflecting the natural and cultural identity of each location.
The El Yunque model, presented in deep green tones, references the island’s lush tropical rainforest—the only one in the U.S. National Forest System. The Santurce edition uses bright orange shades to represent the creative energy of one of San Juan’s most dynamic cultural districts. The Cabo Rojo design, done in soft pink, draws inspiration from the area’s salt flats and rare pink-hued waters.
Each sneaker includes Bad Bunny’s signature design elements, including double tongues, gum soles, roped laces and exposed stitching. The city names are embossed in gold on the heel.
The El Yunque and Santurce sneakers are available now exclusively in Puerto Rico, whilst the Cabo Rojo pair will be released globally on the 26th July.
