KEEN has teamed up with German retailer AFEW Store to launch a limited-edition version of the UNEEK WK, aiming to redefine walking as a mindful, intentional act rather than a rushed routine.
Titled “Past Forward,” the collaboration blends meditative design elements with performance-driven innovation. Based on KEEN’s signature two-cord silhouette, the UNEEK WK is reworked with KEEN.CURVE technology, featuring a curved sole structure, supportive plate and energy-returning midsole designed to promote smooth, forward movement.
The shoe draws on influences from Eastern walking meditation and traditional woven craftsmanship, paired with minimalist aesthetics for a contemporary feel. Muted tones, a rubberised mudguard and symbolic details like custom tassels and ribbed cord ends reflect the project’s focus on balance, presence and reflection.
