Nadia Lee Cohen drops music video for Aphex Twin’s “Korg Funk 5”

Photographer, artist, and filmmaker Nadia Lee Cohen has released a new music video for Aphex Twin’s track “Korg Funk 5”, co-directed with frequent collaborator Charlie Denis.

The release was teased a day earlier via Instagram, where Cohen posted the Aphex Twin logo with the caption “July 28th.”

The video features Cohen in a sequence of stylised, surreal scenes and includes a cameo from JT of City Girls. A while back, in October 2023, Cohen posted a series of videos dancing to Aphex Twin’s “Windowlicker”, wearing one of the iconic masks from the original video directed by Chris Cunningham.

“Korg Funk 5” is a playful, synth-driven track by Aphex Twin (as AFX), created entirely with Korg gear as part of a collaboration with synth designer Tatsuya Takahashi. Released in 2017, it features quirky melodies, microtuning, and a vocal sample from James’s young son, adding a personal and experimental touch.
