Brain Dead and adidas Originals have reunited for a new collaboration, unveiling the Japan Flames collection.
Serving up a wrestling-inspired trio of sneakers that fuses sports heritage with the LA collective’s experimental edge, the lineup includes two Japan Lo colourways—one in brown with yellow-green accents, and another in black with blue and off-white. Both feature leather uppers, suede flame overlays, furry laces and co-branded sockliners. The Japan Hi rounds out the pack, channelling the look of a wrestling boot with an all-black base, pine green accents, and flame detailing.
The release follows the duo’s previous work on tennis and bowling silhouettes, as well as Brain Dead’s own wrestling venture, Brain Slam Wrestling, launched in 2022. Together, the new drop highlights their shared commitment to reinterpreting sport classics with bold subcultural influence.
