BIRKENSTOCK 1774 has announced the debut of ENSEMBLE 1774, a new creative platform inviting leading designers to reimagine the brand’s heritage through original projects.
The first chapter, launching globally in October 2025, sees Paris-based designer Thibo Denis introduce three new footwear silhouettes. Denis, known for his innovative approach to contemporary footwear, merges BIRKENSTOCK’s orthopedic tradition with modern design, incorporating the brand’s signature Blue Footbed and a newly developed, sport-inspired sole. The collection, rooted in the concept of “climbing the city,” reflects freedom, exploration, and movement through bold color combinations inspired by 1970s Yosemite.
Each silhouette, named after BIRKENSTOCK’s historic factory sites, is finished with the brand’s bone-pattern outsole and the 1774 emblem, marking a balance of heritage craftsmanship and forward-looking design.
