Merrell and Gramicci have joined forces for a new collaboration that merges performance, heritage and style.
Launching 24th October, the partnership reimagines Merrell’s best-selling hiking icon, the Moab, through Gramicci’s signature movement-driven design lens. The result, the Merrell Moab 2 Siren x Gramicci, arrives in two colourways, Dark Earth and Citron, blending the trusted traction and comfort of the Moab 2 with a reinterpreted Siren Web upper built for both the trail and the street.
Speaking on the collaboration, Richard McLeod, Chief Marketing Officer at Merrell, stated: “Exploring outside has always been about movement, freedom, and discovery – whether on the trail, the rock face, or the city. Partnering with Gramicci, a brand that has shaped outdoor culture for nearly 45 years, allowed us to create something that celebrates our heritage while redefining what an outdoor icon can look like today.”
Founded just a year apart, Merrell in 1981 and Gramicci in 1982, the two brands helped shape modern outdoor culture from opposite sides of the spectrum—Merrell through accessible performance footwear and Gramicci through climbing-inspired apparel born from Yosemite’s counterculture. This collaboration celebrates their shared legacy while redefining what it means to explore, whether in nature or the city.
