Marking two years since the release of his acclaimed sophomore album LAHAI, London artist Sampha has unveiled a previously unheard track, “Cumulus / Memory”.
Co-written with and featuring backing vocals from Romy, the self-produced two-part piece captures Sampha’s signature blend of introspection and elegance. Originally recorded during the LAHAI sessions, the track was completed over the past two years while Sampha toured his celebrated live show.
Speaking on the single, Sampha said: “Cumulus was the first song I wrote for LAHAI and the last one to be finished. Living with it for some time, I really feel like I wanted to share it with people”.
