Bottega Veneta’s New Short Film Features Jacob Elordi

Bottega Veneta has unveiled “What Are Dreams”, a new artistic collaboration with legendary photographer Duane Michals and actor Jacob Elordi.

Shot entirely at Michals’ New York home, the project comprises a short film and a series of 12 black-and-white photographs that explore surrealism, imagination and the unconscious. Elordi appears in a sequence of dreamlike tableaux, each echoing Michals’ long-standing fascination with surrealist masters Giorgio de Chirico and René Magritte. The film features Elordi reading Michals’ 2001 poem “What Are Dreams,” a meditation on “midnight movies of the mind,” with handwritten excerpts woven through the imagery.
