Multi-hyphenate musician and producer Avalon Emerson & the Charm has today returned with a new single, “Eden”.
The breakbeat-driven track is accompanied by a Ben Turok–directed video capturing the artist’s spontaneous dash from her upstate New York home to JFK Airport en route to a European DJ set. The film offers an intimate glimpse into the duality of Emerson’s life, balancing the solitude of creation with the rush of performance.
Speaking on the single, Emerson explained: “‘Eden’ is the voyage along the endless river carved between mountains of joy and loss, of experience and exhaustion. We glide over a teeming riverbed of relationships and love, revealing the path itself is the point.
‘Eden’ came from the first studio session I had with Bullion after the last “& the Charm” live tour in late 2023. That day in London made me realise that making this kind of music is not just a detour from DJing and dance music, but the entrance to a deep cave, full of passages to wander.”
Later this month, Emerson will bring her dynamic DJ sets to the Warehouse Project in Manchester and Fidelity Studio in Dublin, before heading to Miami’s Factory Town. In 2026, she’ll take Avalon Emerson & the Charm on a full UK and European live tour throughout March and April. Presale for the Avalon Emerson & the Charm European shows will go live next Wednesday, November 19th with general on sale next Friday, November 21st here.
