Nike and Palace have unveiled their latest collaboration, a three-style lineup of Air Max DN8s that reimagines Dynamic Air with a high-voltage twist.
Each pair features a vivid orange base accented with black, grey and white, and incorporates a lightning motif that nods to the 2000 Nike Air Max Plus “Eclair Lightning”. Design cues from the Air Max Plus’ TPU “fingers” and colour pops reminiscent of the Air Shox R4 further anchor the release in early-2000s heritage. Built with two dual-pressure Air units and eight cushioning tubes, the DN8 continues Nike’s emphasis on smooth heel-to-toe transitions and responsive comfort.
The accompanying campaign film, directed by Eamonn Freel and starring Palace rider Ville Wester alongside Rocky the Dog, leans into the collection’s electric theme, featuring towering Tesla coils and chainmail-clad professionals conducting 100,000 volts of charge as a wolf-like Rocky looks on at the newly charged DN8.
