Alexander McQueen has revealed its Spring/Summer 2026 Pre-Collection, presenting a sharp fusion of rebellion and unmistakable British attitude.
Under creative director Seán McGirr, the collection reinterprets the house’s heritage with a youthful, hedonistic twist. Precise tailoring remains central, though disrupted with unexpected details, from fractured chandelier motifs glimmering across black silk to suits cut tightly to the body. Classic McQueen tartan reappears, reworked with asymmetric lines and modern proportions, while the brand’s signature skull motif resurfaces on accessories and silk pieces.
Outerwear draws on British countryside codes, translated for contemporary city wear. Waxed cotton jackets, gabardine car coats and sculpted leather silhouettes are cinched and deconstructed to create movement and contrast. Sparkling chandelier-inspired jewellery and silver skull accents add a dose of theatrical glamour. Footwear ranges from razor-sharp Skull pumps to equestrian-style Countryside boots embellished with zips and buckles.
Shot at London’s Eltham Palace, the campaign captures a sense of youthful escape, referencing the spirited photography of Dafydd Jones and his iconic depictions of high-society mischief.
