Heron Preston has officially reopened a new chapter for his namesake label, marking his full return as an independent designer after reclaiming his trademarks from New Guards Group earlier this year.
The relaunch signals a reset for the brand, framed through a streamlined, back-to-basics approach Preston calls “Foundation: Blue Line Edit”. Rather than a traditional seasonal collection, the reboot unfolds through a series of curated seven-piece drops, or “blocks”, released in quick succession. Each block reexamines the codes that shaped the label’s early identity, prioritising clarity, proportion and craft over volume.
The inverted orange label, a symbol Preston adopted during the period when he temporarily lost legal control of his name, returns as the defining motif of the relaunch. Now, it stands as a marker of creative autonomy and persistence, anchoring the garments and the ethos behind this new phase.
Block 1 reintroduces key silhouettes from Preston’s breakthrough years, including structured bombers, refined base layers and monochrome pieces punctuated with the brand’s signature orange. The edit reflects Preston’s renewed focus, smaller, sharper releases that rebuild the label’s world.
