Robyn Lynch Reunites With Geox To Reimagine The Iconic Snake

Italian footwear label Geox has teamed up with Irish menswear designer Robyn Lynch to launch the next chapter of their ongoing collaboration, commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Geox Snake sneaker.

Building on earlier reinterpretations shown on Lynch’s AW23 and AW24 runways, the new collection draws on archival research to rework early Snake models. The release spans five fabrications and colourways, combining premium leathers and suedes with performance materials. Design contrasts are emphasised through layered construction, exposed stitching, and material pairings that set matte against reflective and soft against structured. Breathability is enhanced through cut-out suede panels that reveal technical mesh, while a concealed lace system replaces traditional eyelets for a cleaner profile.

Archival influence is most evident at the heel, where a rubber rear spoiler references a 2006 Snake design. The sneaker is anchored by Geox’s signature Original Breathing System, with its perforated outsole and breathable membrane retained to preserve the model’s functional heritage.
