KEEN has introduced the UNEEK 360, a solvent-free update to its signature open-air sneaker, marking a new step in the brand’s ongoing Detox the Planet initiative.
An evolution of the original two-cord UNEEK silhouette, the 360 model features a four-piece build that can be disassembled at the end of its lifecycle. The removable engineered knit upper is made using recycled plastic bottles, while articulated cords provide adaptive fit and structure. Underfoot, a lightweight hybrid rubber-foam outsole delivers abrasion resistance and durability without added weight.
UNEEK 360 is KEEN’s first shoe produced without solvents, part of a wider sustainability drive that began in 2014 to remove toxic chemicals from its manufacturing processes, including PFAS. The model also incorporates pesticide-free, probiotic-based odour control.
