Nicholas Daley Unveils “Rebel Riot” Autumn/Winter 2026 Collection

Nicholas Daley has unveiled its Autumn/Winter 2026 collection, titled “Rebel Riot”, drawing inspiration from seminal Washington D.C. punk band Bad Brains.

Channeling the group’s genre-defying sound and DIY ethos, Daley explores themes of nonconformity, cultural crossover and Positive Mental Attitude (PMA) through textured fabrics and subculture-driven silhouettes. References to Rastafarian colour codes, reggae and hardcore punk run throughout, reflecting both the band’s legacy and Daley’s own Jamaican-Scottish heritage.

Key pieces include the oversized Hibiscus Cardigan, merging Scottish thistle and Jamaican hibiscus motifs into a bespoke Fair Isle-style knit, and a new Harrington jacket that fuses punk and Ivy League influences with hand-knitted detailing and patchwork accents. The Rebel Chore Coat and H.R. Smock, named after Bad Brains’ frontman, expand the outerwear offering, while the brand’s signature Warm Up Jacket returns with updated corduroy panelling.

Fabrication remains central, with Japanese cotton plaids, brushed stripe weaves and ombré checks sitting alongside merino wool textiles produced by Portuguese mill Morgado. Jersey staples are refreshed with new graphics, including tees nodding directly to Bad Brains’ archival merchandise and Daley’s own Reggae Klub legacy.

Collaborations continue for AW26, with Gitman Vintage delivering custom striped chambray shirts, Lavenham producing quilted outerwear, and George Cox reworking its Derby silhouette with a creeper sole.
