Parisian brand A.P.C. and Los Angeles collective Brain Dead have announced their latest collaboration, “Interaction #29”.
Continuing the ongoing partnership between the Paris label and the Los Angeles collective, the new drop is rooted in the long-standing relationship between A.P.C. founder Jean Touitou and Brain Dead’s Kyle Ng, built on shared interests in music, culture and everyday uniform dressing.
For this release, Ng enlisted members of the Brain Dead community to write and record four original tracks inspired by the collection, extending the project beyond clothing.
The capsule blends Brain Dead’s relaxed, baggier silhouettes with A.P.C.’s signature fabrics, with denim once again at the centre. New fits and updated wash treatments give the pieces a naturally worn-in feel, including a raw indigo denim jacket and jeans finished with a co-branded “Paris California” leather patch. A striped Breton-style polo adds another key highlight.
Accessories include denim caps, a striped beanie and mint-green co-branded mugs.
