Clarks Originals Shares New ‘Desert Riders’ Collection By Blanche Yu

Clarks Originals has launched its Autumn/Winter 2026 collection, Desert Riders, created with Chinese artist and Guest Creative Director Blanche Yu.

The collection draws on American Western style and Mongolian nomadic craftsmanship, reinterpreting Clarks Originals’ British heritage silhouettes with weathered leather, workwear detailing, hand-embroidered motifs and leather weaving. It was captured through a campaign shot on location in Inner Mongolia.

The range includes reworked versions of the Wallabee and Desert Trek, featuring embroidered vamps, stud detailing and hair-on uppers, alongside two new silhouettes: the Desert 2456 Rock, a Desert Boot update with a roomier toe shape and Rock sole unit, and the Wallabee Lace, a women’s style with lace-to-toe construction.

Speaking on the collaboration, Yu explained: “The Desert Riders collection is a story of exploration and reinvention. It was an honour to work with a brand with more than 200 years of heritage and shine a light on the beautiful traditions of Mongolian craftsmanship for a modern audience.”
