Grime artist Nori has released new single “the_1” featuring TS7, ahead of his debut project out this October.
The track follows recent single “make_it” and marks Nori’s second bassline-focused release of 2026, after “shake_leg” earlier in the year. Known for blending grime influences with early 2000s video game and internet culture references, Nori has built a following since first releasing music in 2020/2021, drawing on producers including Flukes and Davinche alongside 2010s US party and bassline sounds.
Nori will support Songer on his six-date “WHAT IF I SAY TOUR?” in November, alongside appearances at Simple Things Festival in Bristol and Airwaves Festival in Iceland.
