Fontaines D.C. have released new single “Tongue”, the second track from their upcoming fifth album, Dopamine Chamber, alongside a music video directed by John Angus Stewart.

The track follows lead single “Marianne” and features a manipulated bass line inspired by techniques used by Prince, alongside a heavily distorted vocal from Grian Chatten. Dopamine Chamber follows 2024’s UK platinum-certified Romance and marks a shift away from the band’s earlier guitar-driven sound, featuring a collaboration with Rosalía on “Where Is Gone?”. The album was made with producer James Ford across London, the English countryside and Palermo.

Fontaines D.C. have also announced their biggest headline shows to date, including UK and European arena dates in 2026 and outdoor and stadium shows in 2027, among them two nights at Slane Castle, London Stadium and Heaton Park in Manchester, alongside newly announced Japanese and Australian shows and an appearance at Laneway Festival in February 2027. Tickets available here.
