Blackhaine announces debut album releasing via XL Recordings

Blackhaine has announced his debut album, Saints In The Wethouse, out 13th November via XL Recordings, alongside lead single “Consumer”.

The track arrives with a video directed by Elena Isolini, with Blackhaine as creative director. The 12-track album blends noise rap, industrial folk and songwriting influences, produced largely by Blackhaine with executive producer Wraith9, alongside contributions from Rainy Miller, Croww, Space Afrika, Ship Sket, Vanessa Bedoret and Gabe Evans. Highlights include opener “Cold Shoulder”, “Northside Needs Me”, and ballad “The Wind”, a duet with Rainy Miller.

Blackhaine will premiere the album live this weekend at Unsound Festival in Warsaw on 4th October. Renown for his intense stage presence, he has previously worked on creative and stage direction for Playboi Carti and presented work at institutions including Tate Modern, Centre Pompidou, Sonar, Manchester International Festival, the Venice Biennale and Club2Club.
