Bloc marks 20 years with huge one-off reunion at The Cause next year

Bloc is staging a one-off reunion at The Cause in London’s Docklands on 6th March, marking 20 years since its first Weekender and ten years since the last.

Bloc Reunion runs from 2pm to 6am and brings together artists from across the festival’s history. Jeff Mills, who has played more headline sets for Bloc than any other artist, will perform alongside Egyptian Lover, who returns for a rare live set. Steve Davis, the six-time world snooker champion, returns with Kavus Torabi, while Surgeon and Regis reunite as British Murder Boys for a live performance. Leftfield make their first appearance at Bloc, with Neil Barnes playing a DJ set.

The lineup also includes Tama Sumo and Lakuti back-to-back, DJ Storm with Tasha, and Miss Djax playing a vinyl-only acid set. I Love Acid, Plex and Chapter 10 will host rooms across the venue, with Telepathic Fish running a dedicated chill-out space.

Bloc began in 2007 at a holiday park in Norfolk before moving to Butlins Minehead, where it ran for most of a decade. After a 2012 London edition that fell short, the team opened a Bloc club in East London, which ran for eight years.
