Tiga has added to his HOTLIFE remix series with Chris Lake’s take on “SILK SCARF”, his collaboration with Fcukers, released via Turbo Recordings and Secret City Records.
Lake takes the track down a tech house route, pushing Tiga and Shanny’s vocals to the front for a version built for festival stages and big-room dancefloors. Tiga described the original as reflecting the spirit of the electroclash era, with Fcukers sharing his disregard for genre boundaries.
The HOTLIFE remix project has seen artists including Fcukers, Ben Sterling, DJ Hell, Tensal, The Dare, Budino and Deetron rework tracks from the album, with “HOT WIFE”, “ECSTASY SURROUNDS ME” and “IAMWHATIAM” each receiving a standalone vinyl EP.
HOTLIFE, released earlier this year, was Tiga’s first studio album in over a decade, featuring Boys Noize, Fcukers, MRD, Maara, Priori and Patrick Holland across 12 tracks.
