In-form duo Overmono step up for fabric’s coveted mix series, unleashing “fabric presents Overmono” on July 16th alongside early teaser “If You Ever”.
Having spent the last year and a half cementing themselves as a couple of the the very best electronic music producers in the UK, Overmono took to Instagram explaining:
“When we started building the mix it was right in the middle of what felt like a never ending lockdown winter. We stayed up on night listening to a load of tracks that reminded us of hazy nights in the club over the years and the times we were actually able to go out and have a laugh“.
“There wasn’t much of a plan of what we wanted our track ‘If U Wanted’ to be, other than we knew we wanted to write something that felt the opposite of the time we were in. We wanted to try and capture the feeling that summer had finally arrived, we’re round a mate’s house having some drinks and it’s nearly time to head out for the night“.
‘If U Ever’ by Overmono is the exclusive track from the forthcoming fabric mix by Overmono. The comp is out on CD and digitally on 16th July, followed by a headlining show at fabric on 17th July, with a vinyl release later in September 2021.
