Nix Northwest returns with stunning new single ‘The Occasional L’

London-based rapper and producer Nix Northwest delivers new single taken from his debut album Xin’s Disappearance out on Well Overdue Recordings.

Following up his standalone single “Drive Slow”, Nix Northwest delivers his first teaser taken from his highly anticipated forthcoming album. The new track draws strong influences from jazz, hip-hop and soul, perfectly encapsulating the raw talent of the Londoner.

Speaking on the new release, Nix explains: “‘The Occasional L’ is a song which reflects upon the feelings of being romantically rejected. However, instead of mulling over his damaged ego, Xin brushes it off and moves on – reminding us that we all have to take an occasional L.”
